Tethering Hope is a local 501(c)(3) that “tethers” caring neighbors and community partners to families in crisis across Katy and Fort Bend. When a mom is choosing between gas and groceries or a senior’s lights are about to be shut off, we step in quickly to bridge the gap—food, clothing, transportation, utility assistance, and trusted referrals—delivered with dignity and compassionate care. Powered by volunteers and partnerships with churches, civic groups, and small businesses, we focus on same-day, no-red-tape help and follow-up so people can move from emergency to stability. Every tax-deductible gift goes straight to practical needs and the relationships that change lives.
At Tethering Hope, our vision is a community where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to thrive. We work towards this goal every day, by providing vital services and advocating for policies that promote equity and justice.
Our team is made up of dedicated professionals who are passionate about our mission. We come from diverse backgrounds and bring a wide range of skills and expertise to our work. Together, we are committed to making a difference in our community.
Since our founding in 2024, Tethering Hope has helped several individuals and families in our community. From providing emergency assistance to helping people find stable housing, we are proud of the impact we have made. But there is still much work to be done, and we are committed to continuing our efforts.
